Commenced a long-term partnership for the provision of industrial services for Rio Tinto's eastern seaboard Alcan alumina operations.

Veolia Environmental Services and Hanson Australia, Australia

Awarded the national waste and recycling contract for Hanson Australia. Hanson is one of the world's leading heavy building materials companies, providing construction products including aggregates and various concrete mixes. The contract covers over 250 sites across Australia.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies and Darling Walk Development, New South Wales

Designed, supplied and commissioned a recycled water plant for the Darling Walk Development for Bovis Lend Lease. The recycled water plant will combine innovative technologies to treat black water to produce high-quality recycled water.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies and Woodside, Western Australia

Supplied a brackish water reverse osmosis plant to provide tempered water for Woodside's North Rankin B platform.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies and the Stratford Power Station, New Zealand

Designed and built a water treatment plant for the Stratford Peaker Power Station. The plant will treat river water for use in the plant using two streams of Actiflo® clarification, reverse osmosis and continuous deionisation. This process will reduce plant operating costs and provide easy operation for the client. Commissioning is expected in early 2010.

Veolia Water Network Services and Sydney Water Watermains Program Alliance, New South Wales

The Sydney Water Watermains Program Alliance comprises Veolia Water Network Services, Bovis Lend Lease Australia, CLM Infrastructure and Sydney Water. The Alliance is responsible for a significant proportion of Sydney Water's planned capital works across 13,000 square kilometres. Veolia Water Network Services carries out operations including trenchless technologies (pipe bursting and pipe lining) and roles of alliance planning, design management and innovations management.

Veolia Transport and BHP Billiton, Western Australia

Provided a passenger transport for workers at the BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina mine site. The transport services will assist workers to move safely between the job site and accommodation villages as well as provide transfers to Perth.

Veolia Energy (Dalkia) and AAPC, Australia and New Zealand

Entered a three-year Australia and New Zealand-wide national agreement with AAPC (ACCOR Asia Pacific) to supply general mechanical services. This agreement formalises a hotel-by-hotel arrangement that has been successfully in place since 2007. In this time, Veolia Energy (Dalkia) has clearly demonstrated its capabilities in providing the highest level of services and standards, including the successful completion of several upgrade projects.

Veolia Energy (Dalkia) and Sydney TAFE, New South Wales

Renewed a mechanical services provision contract with all of Sydney TAFE campuses. Veolia Energy (Dalkia) has been working with Sydney TAFE since 1998.This is an example of the long-term relationship Veolia Energy (Dalkia) endeavours to establish with its clients.

Veolia Energy (Dalkia) and Springfield Land Corporation, Queensland

Extended a portfolio of sites serviced for Springfield Land Corporation. Veolia Energy (Dalkia) has a strategic alliance with Springfield Land Corporation. This new contract involves comprehensive facilities and asset management for Springfield Tower, a 10,000 square metre, new A-grade office tower.
